Randyl Appel (CEO)

AHA's managing partner and CEO,Randyl Appel, was International Director of Training for W Hotels Worldwide opening several of its prime properties in the first six years of W's existence. He was credited with playing a key role in making "W" one of the leading life style hotel brands in North America, helping to design its core training service program and service standards.

Randyl has trained companies as diverse as SLS Beverly Hills, The Iron Horse Hotel, Glen Ivy Hot Springs Spas and Resorts, The Sagamore Hotel in Miami, Hotel Za Za in Dallas, The Betsy, in Miami, The Glenn Hotel in Atlanta and top hotels in New York such as The Hotel Mela, The Hotel QT and Hotel Gansevoort. 

His twenty-five year career as an actor, writer, director and choreographer allows him to understand the rhythm and dynamics of different properties and unique service cultures.    His ability to compel authentic dialogue in his facilitation work allows for some of the most unique training in the hospitality industry. 

 

 

Melissa Oscher (Executive Trainer)

Mrs. Oscher has served as a senior manager for the Power Pilates Corporation since 2003. During her tenure, she has developed and implemented national management and staff training programs for that highly successful brand. Melissa has also been a part of opening teams for hotels and restaurants including The Glenn, SLS Beverly Hills, The Sagamore, The Iron Horse to name just a few and has enjoyed various roles within the hospitality industry.

Melissa hails from an extensive background in Broadway musical theater, television, and commercials. She has enjoyed starring in such Broadway shows as Phantom of the Opera (Christine), the last revival of Grease! (Sandy), and the revival of Into the Woods (Rapunzel) opposite Vanessa Williams as well as the National Tours of Ragtime and Phantom of the Opera in Canada. Some of her television credits include Law & Order: Criminal Intent, As the World Turns, One Life to Live, Grounded for Life, Providence, ER, ED, & The City.

 

Brian Noonan (Executive Trainer)

Brian Noonan has had a seventeen year career as a Broadway performer and international concert soloist. He also produced and directed shows and events in New York and abroad.His clients include Coldwell Banker, IBM, W Hotels, Marcus Group, Top of the Rock, and School Specialty. His passion for service and hospitality began as a manager with McDonalds for seven years where he was certified in advanced service and service recovery, preventative maintenance, and action plans which culminated with a degree in Hamburgerology.

 

 

 

 

 

Kimberly Stern (Executive Trainer)

Kimberly Stern is an outstanding communicator who is equally at home in the classroom, the stage, or the screen.  She was the director of Role-Play education for the SLS Beverly Hills, The Betsy Hotel in Miami and many more such prestigious projects. 

Audiences have enjoyed Kimberly on Broadway in such shows as Annie and A Doll's Life.  Her role as the title characted in Becoming Adele Off-Broadway recently garnered her national attention and glowing reviews.

 

 

 

 

Allan Snyder (Executive Trainer)

Allan Snyder has a long affiliation with AHA, and he has helped design trainings for The Sagamore, The Glenn, The Iron Horse and more.  Allan has a great deal of experience in the cruise ship industry, working for Celebrity Cruises on their luxury liners Infinity and Summit. As a production singer, Allan was responsible for entertaining guests both on and offstage, as he was expected to socialize with the guests and represent the brand at all times. This taught him the cornerstone values of guest interaction and provided a unique training ground for the hospitality field. An actor by trade, Allan appeared on Broadway in the final cast of Les Miserables, has played leading roles at theatres throughout the country and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from New York University.

 

 

 

Hollie Howard (Trainer)

Broadway triple threat Hollie Howard has appeared in the original casts of Hairspray, Mamma Mia! and Annie Get Your Gun with Reba McEntire.

She has also appeared on the Tony Awards, Rosie O’Donnell, David Letterman and Conan O’Brien.

Hollie has been very active as an educator, as well as in the NYC and Regional Theatre scene. Hollie is the founder of "The Audition"; a class which focuses on how to give successful auditions; she is on staff with Making it On Broadway, Broadway Classroom, Onstage NY and Open Jar Institute. The combination of her substantial guest service resume partnered with her role-play facilitation credentials has made Hollie a perfect recent addition to our team!

 

 

Skie Ocasio (Trainer)

In 1995 Skie entered the world of Hospitality at the Marriott Marquis in the heart of New York City and quickly found his niche. He has trained hotels as diverse as SLS Beverly Hills and The Water and Beach Club in Puerto Rico. Mr. Ocasio studied musical theatre at Syracuse University as well as arts administration at The New School. Having spent numerous years onstage as a professional Broadway musical theatre actor performer helped him land numerous customer service and hospitality postions in between performance work. Working as a leader for companies like Marriott Corporation, Royal Caribben and Norwegian Cruise Lines led him to join forces with Bella Note. In addition Skie has been an administrative associate to president and vice presidents at The Luedtke Agency, Charles Rosen Casting and Manhattan Realty. He aspires to combine his many years onstage in numerous productions, with his extensive efficient and detailed knowledge of the corporate world to help others gain necessary skills to effectively improve relations between their employees. Skie has a great understanding of hospitality business as show business and brings great joy and meaning to our facilitation.

 

Jenny Parsinen (Trainer)

As a dancer, singer and actor, Jenny has enjoyed a musical theatre career both in New York City and regionally, has served as a member/associate choreographer for several professional dance companies, and has appeared on television in Guiding Light, As The World Turns, and on PBS in the short film, "Window Shopping."  Throughout the years Jenny has worked as a Production/Entertainment Manager for numerous events. Some include the US Open Opening Ceremonies with Diana Ross, Glamour Magazine's Woman of the Year Awards, Bon Apetite Magazine's 100-Year Anniversary Celebration with Gavin DeGraw, and Stand Up New York.  She has also had the distinct privilege of being an integral part of the opening hospitality team for Granite Bay Golf Club in California and Kingsbarns Golf Links in St. Andrews, Scotland.  She earned a B.A. in both Dance and Drama from UC Irvine and is thrilled to be joining such an amazing team of people at Bella Notte.
